 The Oil and Gas technician is a professional capable of operating and controlling machines and equipment in the production of oil and natural gas. They assist and act in programming, planning and execution of maintenance of machines and equipment. They determine the dimensional properties and magnitudes of rocks, fluids and materials for the oil and natural gas industry and assist in controlling the environmental effects of the operations performed.
